26 Jan Dota 2: Tundra Esports Acquires Mudgolems
After a few months without a sponsor, mudgolems is now a part of Tundra Esports.
Back in September 2020, the European Dota 2 scene was shattered by a newly-formed team. Adrian “Fata” Trinks, Neta “33” Shapira, and three other players decided to team up and go up against the best teams in Europe.
The team did fairly well in some competitions, such as the Beyond the Summit Pro Series Season 3: EU/CIS, where they’ve finished second. Needless to say, this wasn’t left unnoticed, which is why a few months later, the team got acquired by Tundra Esports.

2021 started really well for Fata and his team-mates. Mudgolems managed to easily qualify for the Upper Division of the Dota Pro Circuit Europe League Season 1. A few days later, the team announced that they will become a part of Tundra Esports.
TE is unknown to most Dota 2 fans because it hasn’t had a professional team under its banner until now. According to the organization, they have really high goals, so it will be really interesting to see whether Fata’s team will be able to become one of the most dominant teams in the region.
The team will go up against OG, following its defeat against Team Secret. OG is considered one of the strongest teams in the region, so the series won’t be easy. Tundra Esports needs to win because otherwise, it will be difficult to survive the group stage.
