North American esports organisation Immortals Gaming Club (IGC) has renewed its partnership with the Toyota Dealers Association in Southern California.

Along with the extension, the deal has also been expanded to include San Diego County dealerships. Immortals’ VALORANT team and the organisation’s in-house content creator, Sheila “Pterodaclysftw” Weidman, are also included in the partnership. Specific details on the involvement of Weidman and Immortals’ VALORANT side have yet to be revealed.
Regarding the organisation’s renewal, Jon Tuck, the CCO of IGC, commented: “Immortals Gaming Club could not be more proud or excited to renew and expand our tremendous partnership with Toyota and our Immortals LCS and VALORANT teams, and PterodactylsFTW for 2021.
“The addition of the San Diego group is a testament to the strength of the partnership and to Toyota’s commitment to engaging and supporting fans in the exploding esports scene.”

As a result of the renewal, Toyota has also been named the official and exclusive automotive partner of Immortals’ LCS and VALORANT teams.
Toyota’s partnership with IGC first began in February 2020 to promote the association’s vehicles. Since then, the partnership has included creating a collegiate tournament — the IMT University Showdown — alongside collaborating with NFL franchise Los Angeles Chargers on a Fall Guys event.
Esports Insider says: Immortals’ new partnership with Toyota is a positive sign for the esports organisation. Along with Immortals retaining a major partner, Toyota clearly sees value in the partnership since the agreement includes more dealerships and the organisation’s VALORANT team.
