LoL: Crownshot And Nemesis join Gen.G As Content Creators

It looks like two more former LEC players have found a new home; with former SK Gaming’s Juš “Crownshot” Marušič, and Fnatic mid laner Tim “Nemesis” Lipovše joining LCK side Gen.G on their content team.

While it’s a surprise move to see two former LEC starters joining the content team for an LCK side — it looks like it might be part of a bigger picture for Gen.G. Nemesis especially will be a surprise. Having spent 2020 with Fnatic as the sides starting mid laner, who had most recently helped take the side to a Worlds first-round appearance.

“Nemesis and Crownshot will be spending time with us creating content & doing live-views of our matches while they train on the ladder.” Said Arnold Hur, Chief Operating Officer of Gen.G. “I really want to show what’s so special about our team, and we now get to directly work with them to help show the world.” Hur said on Twitter.

Crownshot and Nemesis will be joined by a host of other content creators including; Emily Ghoul, Snitchery, Cuvee, and Ryujehong. The team will join the existing Gen.G content team — with Nemesis and Crownshot heading to Korea in the coming months to compete on the Korean ladder.

We’ll have to see what happens over the course of the 2021 season; whether or not the pair see any action in the LCK or academy system remains to be seen. The two are playing on the Korean ladder, so we may see them play at some point. Regardless of how they performed in 2020, it would be a shame to see two young European players end up moving away from professional play. That said, it’s better that they’ve found a home rather than spending 2021 team-less.
