Fortnite: Guild Esports Sign Five-Time FNCS Finalist Anas

Guild adds another promising young talent.

Guild Esports has been making waves in competitive Fortnite over the last few months. Since signing top player Nikolaj “Flikk” Andreas Frøslev in November, the United Kingdom-based organization remains locked in on the popular Battle Royale game’s professional scene. Guild followed the addition of Flikk by signing another outstanding player – England’s own Henrik “Hen” Mclean. Today, Guild Co-Owner David Beckham and the entire organization welcome another one of Europe’s best players. Five-time FNCS Finalist Anas “Anas” El-Abd is now a member of Guild Esports.

Guild Anas

The organization revealed its newest member in a press release for the 18-year-old Fortnite competitor. A native of Denmark, Anas is one of the best players in the game’s most challenging region. His career accomplishments to this point are nothing to overlook. Here’s a glance at what Anas has achieved in just over a year and a half:

  • FNCS Invitational – 16th place
  • Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 1 – 7th place
  • Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 2 – 8th place
  • FNCS Chapter 2 – Season 3 – 10th place
  • FNCS Chapter 2 – Season 4 – 3rd place
  • Four-time Cash Cup Champion

An Outstanding Young Talent

Anas’ consistency in Fortnite Champion Series events is exceptional and not easy to replicate. He continues to improve with each passing season, considering he finished last season’s FNCS in third place alongside Th0masHD and fellow Guild member Flikk. Anas has found success in every competitive Fortnite format and through multiple seasonal play styles and metas. Grant Rousseau, Guild’s Director of Esports, commented on the signing of such an impressive talent.

“It’s clear to us here at Guild that Anas’s previous accomplishments within the global esports sphere make him a strong addition to the Guild roster. Anas is a Fortnite sensation and signing him helps us to expand our talent pool as we continue to make Guild’s mark in the discipline,” he said.

Guild’s newest Fortnite member also provided a comment, stating his excitement about this new adventure. “Guild is an organisation I’ve enjoyed watching grow, so it’s exciting to now be a part of that journey,” he said. I’m sure I’ll have great success with the Guild team, using my previous wins and past experience as a finalist. Make sure you’re tuned in for the next match!”

With over $96K USD in earnings, Anas takes on 2021 with a rising esports organization behind him. This year provides another chance to showcase his skills against Fortnite’s best players while he continues his search for an FNCS title.
