09 Jan Raid Officially Added To Call of Duty League Competitive Map Pool
The latest Call of Duty League competitive settings update saw the fan-favorite map officially added.
Fan Favourite map Raid returned to the Call of Duty franchise for the first time since Black Ops 2 in Season One of Black Ops Cold War. This is something that many fans had been wishing for, and with the return to 4v4 competitive play, many thought we may see it return to the map pool.
Well, teams have been scrimming on Raid for weeks now, and today it was finally officially added. After the map pool change, these are the following Competitive maps.
Hardpoint:
- Checkmate
- Crossroads
- Garrison
- Moscow
- Raid
Search & Destroy:
- Checkmate
- Garrison
- Miami
- Moscow
- Raid
Control:
- Checkmate
- Garrison
- Raid
The addition of Raid sees it remove Cartel completely, remove Crossroads from Search & Destroy and replace Moscow in Control. Many fans will be excited by this change and agree with the maps Raid has replaced.
Raid has seen some of the best Call of Duty content ever made, such as Scump’s “Sweatbannin 88-0” gameplay from Black Ops 2, along with numerous Trickshots on the map. When it comes to competitive, Raid was the map we saw James “Clayster” Eubanks infamously bring out the Crossbow in a competitive match. The 2021 Call of Duty League Season is rumored to start around mid-February, so we have just over a month to prepare for the action.
