New Black Ops Cold War Glitch Allows Players To Skip Guns For Dark Matter Camo

The Dark Matter grind may become a lot easier after this trick was discovered.

Dark Matter camo is one of the most sought after cosmetics within Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. To get it, you must have Diamond camo for every class within the game. Usually, to get Diamond you must get gold on all of the base weapons in the class, and extra DLC guns don’t count towards the progression. However, this year that seems to have changed. Instead, DLC weapons now count towards the progression, allowing you to leave out the worst weapons in the class.

When looking at the requirements to unlock Diamond camo, you’ll see how it says “five SMGs” are needed, rather than the full weapon class. This is different from previous years and may make the grind a lot easier.

Season One saw the introduction of the MAC-10, an SMG which has quickly become the best in its class. Well, now players will be able to leave out one of the harder SMGs to get gold such as the KSP 45 or the Milano, and instead, replace it with the MAC-10.

We are unsure whether this was an intended change to the camo system, or whether this is a glitch. So we would recommend using this trick to your advantage while you can.
